Wolfgang is at once an open book and an enigma. He is, on the surface at least, easy to understand and his good humour and energy are both infectious and invigorating. Wolfgang is also a deeply complex individual shaped as much by his family history as by his own personal engagement and experiences across a number of creative fields. Wolfgang is at once an open book and an enigma.
Wolfgang is a songwriter with a richly personal style. He is a musical performer and a published author. He has written a novel, plays and poems along with his songs. Every day, Wolfgang picks up his guitar and rehearses in preparation for a public appearance that, unfortunately, has been indefinitely postponed due to this global pandemic.
Wolfgang’s latest musical offerings are contained on an EP untitled When. While the title song was written recently (2019) some of the other offerings on this disk (The French Poster Song) are contemporary re-imaginings of older material that Wolfgang has carried with him, like old friends, throughout the years.
1 – Turn to me (2:45)
2 – The French Poster Song (2:38)
3 – Someone Else’s Eyes (3:43)
4 – Anytime at All (3:24)
5 – The Low Down, Laid Back, Hard Luck Existential Blues (2:11)
5 – When (2:57)
